LOL I can't take this seriously everything is so overdramatic I can't help but feel second hand embarrassment, it's hilarious. And I could not believe Kokubo was doing and saying all that in the middle of the pitch with everyone watching. I thought it was hilarious how it was like Kokubo was some yandere boyfriend with the sparkles and constant sudden appearances, it's like he was some stalker lol.

I haven't cringed like this in so long but I'm guessing with Kokubo's reaction to Tsuji not going after him we will not be seeing him for a while until the tournament arc or something so I think I'll be safe from the cringe until then.

Since this is a 90s manga, I'm actually surprised how prominent the BL tones are, not that I expect any actual romance between the guys but it is clear they knew what they were doing making Kokubo be all over Tsuji like that lol.
